Meghan and Harry are “furious” their children won’t be HRHs

The Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry are reportedly “furious” that their children will not get HRH titles.

In the days following Queen Elizabeth’s passing, the royal couple, who wed in 2018 and have two children, Archie, 3, and Lillibet, 15 months, reportedly “insisted” that their children receive royal titles. While the two are expected to become Prince and Princess, King Charles will not bestow the title of His/Her Royal Highness on them.

a source said “Being prince and princess gives them the right to have certain levels of royal protection, which is why Harry and Meghan were concerned about the security problem.

“There have been a lot of chats during the last week. Archie and Lilibet are a prince and princess, they have insisted.

Since the Queen’s passing, they have not stopped. However, the fact that Archie and Lilibet cannot assume the title HRH has left them indignant.”

The insider said, “Archie and Lillibet will not be allowed to use the same title as the Prince and Princess of Wales’ children since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex resigned aside from their royal responsibilities back in January 2020 and migrated to Los Angeles with their children.

They may be prince and princess but not HRH since they are not working royals, the source told The Sun tabloid.

The announcement of new titles comes only days after the passing of Queen Elizabeth, who died at the age of 96 at her Balmoral estate last Thursday after a 70-year reign. Her son King Charles gave the newlyweds his “love” at the time.

He stated: “I am certain that our new Prince and Princess of Wales will continue to inspire and steer national discourse while assisting in elevating the underdog to the front where necessary assistance may be provided.

“I also want to say how much I admire Harry and Meghan as they work to establish their life abroad.”
