Ogun State Schools Resumption Date


The Ogun State Government has set the date for the statewide reopening of schools for the first term of the 2022-2023 academic year.

The Ogun State Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology has announced that on Monday, September 19, 2022, all public and private primary and secondary schools, government science and technical colleges (GSTCs), and government technical and vocational colleges (GTVCs) will reopen for the 2022/2023 academic year.

Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu, the Commissioner for Education, Science, and Technology, said in a news release dated September 12, 2022 that registration for new students in various admission classes at public primary, junior, and senior secondary schools has commenced.

The message congratulated all students a happy and fruitful new academic year.
