Prince Andrew goes for a horseback ride for the first time after ‘tested positive for Covid’

Prince Andrew was seen leaving Windsor Castle in his Range Rover for the first time since he ‘tested positive for Covid,’ after being forced to miss the Platinum Jubilee celebrations last weekend.

The Duke of York, 62, was seen driving a car in the royal estate early this morning, sporting a dark blue jumper and a pink shirt.
This morning, he had gone for a horseback ride.

Buckingham Palace revealed at the beginning of the month that he had ‘tested positive for Covid’ following a ‘routine test.’
It meant Andrew had to cancel his attendance at the Queen’s Thanksgiving Service on June 3rd, which he had planned to attend.

The Duke of York was said to have seen his mother, the Queen, in the days leading up to his positive test, but she was found to be negative.

He didn’t see her once he found out he was positive.

Andrew was not on the Buckingham Palace balcony for the flypast following Trooping the Colour on Thursday, June 2, because the Queen only allowed working members of her family to accompany her.

After a public outcry over his relationship with paedophile millionaire Jeffrey Epstein, the monarch’s disgraced second son stepped aside from public life and paid millions to settle a civil sexual assault complaint with a lady he claimed he had never met.
Andrew, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle, who were also not allowed to stand on the balcony last Thursday, were slated to attend the thanksgiving ceremony.

After Virginia Giuffre, who was trafficked by Epstein, accused him of sexually assaulting her when she was 17, Andrew was kicked out of the working monarchy and no longer uses his HRH style. The Duke has always flatly denied the allegations.

Andrew was instrumental in accompanying his mother to the Duke of Edinburgh memorial service in March.
Only weeks before, he had been exiled from royal public life and paid to resolve his court case, thus it was a surprising modification to the prearranged arrangements.

The move was interpreted as a show of support for her son by the monarch.

The Queen, the Prince of Wales, the Duchess of Cornwall, the Duke of Cambridge, and Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence are among the royals who have caught Covid.

When Princess Michael of Kent, who is married to the Queen’s cousin Prince Michael of Kent, was diagnosed with Covid-19 in November 2020, she experienced severe symptoms.
