‘His wife was f***** her son’s friend’: Chris Rock mocks Will Smith

Comedian Chris Rock talked about being slapped by actor Will Smith during his stand-up comedy special. He mentioned that anyone who knew the circumstances surrounding the slap knew that it wasn’t actually about him.

Rock accused Smith of ‘selective outrage,’ saying that he hit him because his wife had an affair.

Rock also brought up the fact that Jada Pinkett Smith only confessed to having an affair while interviewing her husband, adding that ‘His wife was f****** her son’s friend.’ Rock said he still has ringing in his ears and watches Will Smith’s movie Emancipation just to see him get beat up.

The slap happened on air during the 2022 Oscars ceremony after Rock made a comment about Jada Pinkett Smith’s hair. Finally, after about two and a half hours of the live stand-up special, Rock brought up the slap to close out the show.

He admitted that it still hurts, and he has Summertime ringing in his ear. He added that he’s not a victim, and he would never cry on Oprah or Gayle. He took the hit like Manny Pacquiao.

He noted that Will Smith is significantly bigger than him and practices selective outrage because everyone who knew what happened knew that Rock had nothing to do with it.

Years ago, Will Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, said that Rock should quit the Oscars, and Rock responded to it. Nobody was picking on Jada, but now Smith gave him a concussion. Rock said he loves Will Smith, but he now watches Emancipation just to see him get whooped.

Jada Pinkett Smith admitted to having an affair with singer August Alsina in an episode of her web-series with her husband in 2020. She explained that she first met August through their son Jaden, and the outpouring of help for him from their family was initially about his health.

At that point, Will admitted that he was done with Jada, and they decided to separate for a period of time. Jada said that she got into a different type of entanglement with August, and Will gave her permission to have an affair.

Several years later, at the Oscars ceremony last year, Rock made fun of Jada’s hair loss. When the cameras turned back to Rock, Smith marched up on stage and slapped the comedian across the face, and he received substantial backlash from the entertainment industry for his conduct during the awards ceremony. Smith was ultimately banned from attending any Academy-related events for ten years.
