He expressed optimism that Smith would not “put the mask back on” and instead “let his genuine face breathe.”
He also criticized Meghan Markle’s continual complaints about life, stating, “I don’t understand it.”
Smith issued an apology earlier this month, but Rock is yet to accept it.
