Chris Rock shows Will Smith’s Oscar apology

Will Smith’s internet apology for hitting him at the Oscars has been dubbed a “hostage video” by Chris Rock.

The 57-year-old comedian and 49-year-old Dave Chappelle performed another stand-up show together on Saturday at London’s 02 Arena as part of their new joint comedy tour.

Rock reacted angrily to Will, 53,’s July apologetic video by saying, “F*** your hostage video.”

The comedian also referred to Smith on the set as “Suge Smith,” a jab at the violent and incarcerated Death Row Records boss Suge Knight.

Rock informed the audience during his and Chappelle’s performance on Thursday night at Liverpool’s M and S Arena that Smith had played the role of a “perfect guy” for 30 years before revealing that he is “just as ugly as the rest of us.”

It was the first time the comedian has openly discussed how he felt about being smacked by Smith at the Oscars this year.

Rock cried out in response to Chappelle’s question: “Did that s*** hurt?” in front of the audience: “Goddam right… The mother***** struck me after I uttered the most amusing joke I’ve ever told.

Will pretended to be a perfect person for 30 years before tearing his mask off to reveal that he was just as ugly as the rest of us.

“Whatever the results are… I wish he would remove the mask and let his actual face to breathe. In both guys, I recognise myself.

After Rock compared his wife’s shaved head to actress Demi Moore’s buzzcut in the 1997 movie “G.I. Jane,” Smith stormed the stage at the Academy Awards and punched Rock. Smith then yelled twice from his seat in front of stunned A-listers and millions of moviegoers around the world, “Keep my wife’s name out of your f****** mouth.”

Jada Pinkett Smith, 50, Smith’s wife of 25 years, had shaved it due to alopecia, which causes hair loss.

Smith acknowledged Rock had ignored his efforts to get in touch with him while professing a grovelling apologies in his YouTube video from July.

So I’ll say to you, Chris, I’m sorry, he said. I apologise for my behavior, and I’m available anytime you want to discuss.

Following the assault, there was a great deal of outrage when Smith proceeded to sob as he accepted his best actor award for his performance in “King Richard.” Many felt he should have been immediately expelled from the ceremony.

Prior to their later-in-the-month return to America for additional performances, Rock and Dave Chappelle are scheduled to perform together in London, Copenhagen, and Amsterdam.
