From his bed, Mark Pilgrim pays tribute to his lover

Mark Pilgrim, a media figure and host of HOT 102.7 radio, sent an emotional message on Instagram while recuperating in the hospital after suffering a collapsed lung.

Pilgrim, who is valiantly fighting cancer, took the opportunity to express his gratitude to his girlfriend Adrienne Watkins for supporting him throughout this ordeal.

“Day four in the hospital… with my Adrienne at my side,” he wrote. We’ll look back on these past months and remark that this was one hell of a journey—and we made it through it—one day while we drink cocktails on the sand with our toes in the sand with the girls giggling in the background. #dontstopbelieving“.

Well wishes for the father of two daughters were expressed by followers from different locations.

I would know having a lung condition, but I have never experienced what you’re going through, so I take my hat off to you and wish you the best of luck on your road. You are great, honestly it takes a lot to stay optimistic when you’re not feeling well.

“Positive vibrations are necessary, and I am impressed by your tenacity and fortitude. I hope you get well every day.

You are such a strong and upbeat person, tweeted @bridgetthompson56. The mind has power, as we are all aware! Making a commitment will result in action! Keep up the heroic battle!

Mark, I’m sending you and your family my best wishes and good vibes. I hope you can get through this, with love from the UK, @gillycar said.

Lots of love from the O’Sullivans to you, Mark, and your unique daughters, @jacquiosully wrote. Keep your eyes on the (beach) prize: the little umbrella-topped drinks in the distance.

The 53-year-old radio personality has been informing his followers and admirers about his battle with cancer from the beginning.

Prior to having surgery, he recently shared a photo of himself in a hospital bed.

“Surgery later this afternoon to address collapsed lung… and my “ICU home” for the next week or two,” he added. You are my angels, Millpark Hospital personnel and nurses. #dontstopbelieving.”
