Mark Pilgrim: Follower criticized for’stop cancer medication immediately’ remark

A Mark Pilgrim Instagram follower was criticized when she recommended the ill radio host to immediately halt his cancer treatment…

The experienced presenter is battling lung cancer in stage four and has been providing the public with updates on his condition.

Mark Pilgrim: Ntsiki lashes out after revealing she’s BLOCKED.

While Mark Pilgrim has been showered with well-wishes, prayers, and words of encouragement to continue his fight against cancer, one Instagram user expressed a different opinion.

The user with the handle @lize.dobbins replied on his recent post: “Stop all medications and chemotherapy immediately. Simply allow your body to cure itself now”.

Whether the woman’s comment was well-intended or not, it was met with severe criticism.

Robrocks memoryrocksforrobbie: “Please refrain from recommending a treatment approach to someone unless you have experienced it yourself. Trust me, when you are in a struggle for your life, you try EVERYTHING that your medical specialists and team recommend, as well as any alternative remedies that are accessible. Simply encourage Mark Pilgrim and send him love. “Advice on stopping chemotherapy is useless.”

Colleeninthegarden: “My spouse fought till the last end. Never give up hope, Mark.”

Stuff from miss ruff: My aunt with stage 4 cancer stopped receiving chemotherapy and medication, and believe me, her body did not heal itself. I have no doubt that Mark is heeding the recommendations of his experienced medical professionals.

On the other hand, a few others concurred with the wife that chemo was “breaking down his body.”

Another fan compared Mark Pilgrim’s cancer treatment to “abuse” last month. However, the tone of their response immediately shifted when a follower said that Mark Pilgrim’s cancer struggle was “karma.”

The Facebook user identified as Megan Molko remarked, “I don’t understand the point. You cannot defeat it. I’m not one of those individuals who insist you can beat it. Tell them to give you morphine and exit this plane of existence softly.

She said, “We will certainly remember your grin. What you are experiencing is abuse. Who knows? It may be paying off karma.”

Mark Pilgrim was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer almost a year ago, for the second time after overcoming testicular cancer more than three decades prior.

In the past year, the radio personality has undergone an extensive treatment plan incorporating radiation, immunotherapy, and chemotherapy. In addition to having his lungs drained frequently, he is scheduled to receive a new medicine as part of targeted therapy.

However, there have been setbacks. Mark was had to have massive quantities of fluid drained from his lungs and stomach. After losing more than 15 kilograms during a two-month hospital stint, the presenter is now reliant on a walking stick.

His most recent chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments have also left him fatigued and with a severe case of diarrhea.
