Mark Pilgrim’s fiancee Adrienne Watkins has sent him a note of support as he undergoes arduous stage four cancer treatment.
The couple, who became engaged on New Year’s Eve, have been inseparable for the past year since Mark’s March 2022 diagnosis.
Mark has been updating his social media followers on his cancer journey, which has included both triumphs and failures.
Mark Pilgrim published a picture of his dramatic weight loss in his most recent blog post. In addition to his lungs, he explained that his stomach would also be emptied of fluid.
He posted, “Extremely skinny right now. More fluid has drained from my abdomen, creating some space for meals.
Regarding his cancer battle, he stated, “It’s a journey. It is not simple. Step by step. Still envision myself, Adrienne, and the girls strolling down a beach with our future golden retriever.”
And Adrienne, his partner, jumped into the comment area to offer him encouraging words.
She posted, “Yes, my little one! Keep this concept in mind, my darling. We will succeed! You are so courageous and incredible, and I am so honored to share this journey with you.
She continued, “The sun will shine tomorrow, so keep going. You have this covered. I adore you with my entire being.”
Previously, Adrienne told You Magazine, “Mark is a huge part of my life, but thankfully, I have a lot to keep me occupied during the day. All of these wonderful things contribute to my sense of meaning and purpose.
She continued, “A significant portion of my life has been gray. Mark always claims there is a rainbow between black and white, rather than gray. So, it is attempting to recall seeing that. However, it has not been easy.”
Mark Pilgrim has been receiving messages of affection and well wishes for a speedy recovery from South Africans.
