Jessica Chastain, the 45-year-old actress, fell while walking up the steps at the SAG Awards just after being announced a winner.
The unfortunate moment when Chastain tripped on her taffeta Zuhair Murad dress was caught by several cameras, although it did not air on the telecast.
She had just won the award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series for “George and Tammy,” beating out Niecy Nash, Amanda Seyfried, Julia Garner, and Emily Blunt.
During her acceptance speech, Chastain addressed other actors, saying, “To every actor watching, I look forward to working with you. I will see you on set!”
Shortly after, several Twitter users noticed the similarity between Chastain’s fall and Jennifer Lawrence’s infamous fall at the 2013 Oscars.
One user tweeted, “JESSICA CHASTAIN DID THE JLAW FALL,” while another added, “Jessica Chastain said I know it’s been 10 years since Jennifer Lawrence fell at an award show, let me fix this.”
