Michelle Yeoh has had a busy year, especially with her recent appearance on the 2023 SAG Awards red carpet.
The actress, who starred in “Everything Everywhere All at Once”, arrived wearing a Schiaparelli Haute Couture black one-shoulder gown adorned with yellow sequined fringe.
She paired the dress with black heels, a black and diamond watch, and dangling yellow and diamond statement earrings.
Fans on social media appreciated the outfit, with some humorously comparing the fringe to french fries.
Yeoh is also nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role for her part in “Everything Everywhere All at Once”.
Her performance as verse-jumping laundromat owner Evelyn won her the Best Actress in a Motion Picture Comedy or Musical award at the Golden Globes 2023.
Yeoh gave an emotional acceptance speech during the event, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to work with some of the best people in the industry.
Yeoh’s red carpet look for the SAG Awards was a departure from her attire in the movie.
In contrast, her stunning dress at the Golden Globes was a strapless peplum style from Armani Privé, completely covered in midnight blue sequins and paired with diamonds from Moussaieff Jewellers.
She even reached the top of Page Six Style’s Globes best-dressed list.
In addition to Yeoh’s nomination, “Everything Everywhere All at Once” is up for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture at this year’s SAG Awards.
Co-stars Jamie Lee Curtis and Ke Huy Quan are also nominated in different categories. Yeoh is also presenting at the event.
