Two days after disappearing during her shift at a hospital, a young mother was discovered dead.

GP Eza Lau, 36, was last seen driving away from the Top Ryde MyHealth facility in a black BMW on Sunday around 4 o’clock.

She was reported missing to police that evening at 9 o’clock by her husband and mother, who had tried to phone the single mother at 6 o’clock but were unable to reach her.

The corpse of Ms. Lau was discovered near Huntleys Point on the lower north coast at about 10 p.m. on Tuesday, according to NSW Police. The cause of her death is not being investigated.

According to Paolo, her spouse, his wife’s disappearance was “completely random.”

Before her corpse was discovered, he told the Sydney Morning Herald, “She has never done anything like this before.”

The pair has been together for eight years and has a three-year-old kid.

According to her husband’s account to the Herald, she departed for work around 7 a.m. on Sunday.

The coroner will get a report.

Ms. Lau’s family members and previous patients expressed their sadness upon hearing that her corpse had been discovered.

One person remarked, “You will be terribly missed by many but always remembered for your great heart.”

Another individual said, “Such a wonderful compassionate person.”

“You accomplished so much for the neighborhood.”
