Police have confirmed that the dog owner, who was discovered deceased during a police investigation into the theft of his labradoodle, had been lying there for several days. The individual, identified as Donald ‘Prentice’ Patience, aged 45, was found at his residence after burglars broke in and took his cherished pet, Layla. Ian Gary Connell, a 39-year-old from Bolton, has been charged in connection with the incident and is set to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court. Two other men, aged 27 and 41, have been released on bail while further inquiries are conducted.
The exact cause of Mr. Patience’s death remains unknown, prompting an ongoing investigation.
