Republicans sends out well-wishes to President Joe Biden after tested positive to COVID-19.

Following the White House’s statement that the 79-year-old president had contracted COVID-19, Republicans, including Sens. Ted Cruz, Chuck Grassley, and Kellyanne Conway, expressed congratulations to President Joe Biden.

Cruz tweeted about his wife, Heidi, saying, “Heidi & I are pulling up President Joe Biden in prayer right now.”

“May COVID pass soon, may he have a speedy and complete recovery, and may God’s healing hand be upon him.”

According to 1st Timothy 2:1-2, Grassley wished President Biden a speedy recovery from cancer and prayed for his well-being and ability to serve as president.

Christians are urged in that Bible verse to “pray for all people.”

Kellyanne Conway, the presidential advisor to former President Donald Trump, quickly tweeted that she was sending Biden her “thoughts and prayers.”

Conway added, “Wishing Joe Biden a full and speedy recovery.”

A similar statement was made by Ronna Romney McDaniel, the chairwoman of the Republican National Committee.

Praying for Vice President Biden’s wellbeing.

I hope he gets better quickly and completely,” McDaniel tweeted.

Sen. Lindsey Graham, a Republican from South Carolina and a key Trump supporter in the Senate, commented on Twitter: “Wishing President Biden a swift recovery from COVID.”

Biden’s COVID diagnosis was cited by Republican Rep. Jody Hice as evidence that prophylactic measures are ineffective.

Georgia’s Hice tweeted, “I wish the best for the President’s health.” But can we finally abandon the idea that shots, facemasks, and fist bumps prevent the spread?

Prior to the White House’s announcement that he tested positive for coronavirus on both an antigen and the more accurate PCR test on Thursday morning, Biden, unlike most of Washington, had been able to dodge a coronavirus diagnosis.

He just got back from his first trip as president to the Middle East, where he was meant to minimize handshakes and fist bumps with leaders as COVID cases have started to rise again due to changing variations.

Biden visited Massachusetts on Monday and spoke with people who weren’t wearing masks.

The information was released just prior to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s scheduled weekly news conference.

She told reporters, “I recognize that the symptoms are light.

“She continued, “I hope they stay that way,” mentioning her own experience.

“I hope that’s the president’s situation,”
