‘Mama I made it,’ says Amapiano star Mfana Ka Gogo

Mfana Ka Gogo, real name Sipho Mbonambi, is smiling with joy after clearing his matriculation examination. Despite juggling a great deal, the vocalist who balanced education and music has demonstrated that hard work pays off.

The musician’s career flourished after the release of his breakout tune Jabula, which propelled him to popularity. Mfana Ka Gogo is arguably one of Mzansi’s celebrities who is serious about education; despite his hectic schedule, he excelled in the classroom.

His perseverance and diligence have allowed him to reap the benefits of his labor. Shortly after the 2022 matriculation exam results were revealed, he posted on his Facebook account on January 20 to announce his success. He stated in a post, “Mama, I made it.” In another article, the Jabula hitmaker explained that juggling school and his music career was difficult. The budding amapiano sensation praised his staff for their support.

“It wasn’t easy to balance school and music, but I’d want to thank my team for their support and for making sure I had time for both. I am nothing without you,” he captioned the photo.
