Lady Du has a fascination for automobiles, and her favorite vehicle is a customized BMW 325i known as the “Gusheshe.”
The Gusheshe especially refers to the E30 variant of the BMW 325i, which was manufactured from 1982 until 1994. BMW’s Plant Rosslyn in Pretoria was responsible for producing two- and four-door coupe and sedan models. According to Wikipedia, Rosslyn created the 333i and a customized 325iS as special models.
This week, Lady Du posted a new shot of her midnight blue BMW to Instagram with the remark, “Let’s say spin city, see you later. I’m sending WAWA into orbit.”
According to Briefing, the Amehlo singer, who has over 1.7 million Instagram followers, often informs her fans on the progress of the Gusheshe. Below is an image of the classic BMW that Lady Du owns.
The regular BMW 325i Lady Du generated 125 hp and 222 lb-ft. There was a six-speed manual transmission available. Powered by a potent engine and manual transmission, BMW’s classic rear-wheel drive configuration generated an exhilarating driving experience.
The 325i is one of the few cars in South Africa with iconic status. The origin of the name Gusheshe is the slang term for speedy, ‘Akusheshe’ In December, a perfect 325iS manufactured locally in Johannesburg sold at auction for R900,000.
Lady Du also owns an orange Audi A3 that she affectionately refers to as “Fanta orange.” She’s owned the compact car for nine years.
After the Gusheshe phela, the Audi is one of the star of Amapiano’s favorite toys, he added.
