Jesus returns! Tim Sukazi believes Sead Ramovic saves TS Galaxy against Kaizer Chiefs

Tim Sukazi, chairman of TS Galaxy, has compared the availability of coach Sead Ramovic for Wednesday’s match against Kaizer Chiefs to the “return of Jesus.”

Ramovic missed the previous two games for TS Galaxy because he was on compassionate leave, with his assistant Mensur Dogan taking over as head coach.

Dogan’s squad fell to Marumo Gallants 1-0 before drawing with Swallows 0-0 to extend their losing streak in the DStv Premiership to five games.

When they visit Chiefs at FNB Stadium, Ramovic is expected to return to the bench for the first time after returning from leave.

Saturday’s loss against Chippa United by a score of 2-1 ended the Chiefs’ eight-game unbeaten streak. The Chiefs are also hurt by the loss.

Sukazi, addressing on the first day of the Sasol League national champions playoffs in Polokwane on Tuesday, was relieved that Ramovic had returned.

“Yes, Jesus has returned! “At TS Galaxy, we are not saying he is returning, but he is back!” exclaimed Sukazi after his women’s team tied Dangerous Heroes 2-2.

Ramovic began the season on a high note as his squad went undefeated in their first five games after receiving a contract extension for the team’s survival.

Despite the fact that the wheels appear to have gone off in the last five matches, Sukazi continues to support Ramovic and his technical staff.

“In football, the truth is that coaches do not play. Sukazi stated, “They could be the best in the world, but it depends on the individuals that day.”

“I continue to feel that our coaches are exceptional at what they do, but they do not play. We also require the element of luck. We’ve been dominating as well.

“For various reasons, we’ve been unlucky when it comes to converting opportunities. I hope that tomorrow will be the day. However, if it is not, it is not a train wreck.”

In the past, Galaxy has been Chiefs’ bogey team, a trend that began in 2019 when Galaxy defeated Chiefs in the Nedbank Cup final in Durban.

Sukazi is optimistic that it would shower goals at the Calabash, given that his team has failed to score in seven consecutive matches.

“We desire a deluge of goals. There has been a lack of precipitation in the countryside. “Therefore, Soccer City should be the place to be,” Sukazi, who is known of making fun of Chiefs, remarked.

“Soccer City should be the place where this goal enigma is finally solved.”

The Galaxy Ladies’ chances of being promoted to the Hollywoodbets Super League appear to have been eliminated after a 3-2 loss to Copperbelt in their second match.

The Rockets are in last place in their group with one point after blowing a 2-0 lead against Copperbelt and tying Heroes 2-2 on Tuesday.
