Sead Ramovic urges TS Galaxy to keep winning

TS Galaxy have achieved their greatest ever start to a DStv Premiership season, and head coach Sead Ramovic has challenged his players before of their encounter against Cape Town City to retain their current form.

The Rockets have earned nine of a possible fifteen points, placing them in fifth position on the standings, two points behind the league-leading Orlando Pirates.

Ramovic, who was brought in to save the club from relegation last season, has seen his influence on the team increase over the course of last season and the majority of this season.

Melusi Buthelezi, their goalie, has been one of their most impressive players thus far this season as Galaxy’s defensive performance has vastly improved.

The 24-year-old has yet to concede a goal this season and will attempt to continue that streak in the next matches.

Before the start of the new season, the Bosnia & Herzegovina international coach bolstered his squad with the additions of Sibusiso Vilakazi, Bernard Parker, and Xola Mlambo, a move that has paid instant rewards.

Ramovic has pushed his guys to acquire a sense of responsibility and urged them to keep up the excellent work.

Ramovic stated, “We’ve done a great job thus far, but it’s still very early, so we must manage our thoughts and remain focused in order to remain in this phase.”

“If we can manage our emotions, then we can manage our behaviors, and if we can manage our actions, then we can manage the outcome.

“We must keep moving; we cannot stop. We must maintain the same level of vigor and do our absolute best.”

City have not had the ideal start to the season, winning only one of their first five games, but Ramovic believes his team cannot afford to let up against any opponent.

“If we become complacent and begin to believe we can simply win games, we could lose our momentum and be quickly replaced,” he warned.

“There are no easy games in this league, so if we want to win any game we must be tough.

“Cape Town City play a highly organized, possession-heavy type of football. We are aware that they are a formidable opponent, and that they are led by a skilled coach “He reached a conclusion.
