Ivanka Trump claims she won’t take part in Donald Trump’s bid for president in 2024

Ivanka Trump, the daughter of former President Donald Trump and a White House adviser during the Trump administration, stated on Tuesday night, shortly after her father’s announcement of his 2024 campaign, that she “does not intend to be involved in politics” this time.

Ivanka Trump commented on Instagram, “I love my father very much.” This time around, I’ve decided to prioritize my young children and the family life we’re building.

Donald Trump announced his candidacy for president in 2024 on Tuesday evening.

Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner were prominent White House officials in the presidency of Donald Trump. Since 2020, when President Donald Trump lost to Vice President Joe Biden, the couple has moved away from politics.

Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner testified on video that they attempted to persuade the former president that he lost the 2020 election, despite his repeated unsubstantiated claims of fraud. The video testimony was shown by a House committee on January 6, 2019.

Ivanka Trump stated on Tuesday, “While I will always love and support my father, I will do so outside of the political arena moving forward.” “I am grateful for the opportunity to have served the American people, and I will always be proud of many of our administration’s achievements.”

Ivanka Trump has posted less frequently on social media since her father left office in January 2021, although she did post a few updates about her sister Tiffany’s wedding over the weekend. During the summer, she also shared several posts commemorating the publication of Kushner’s book and paying tribute to her mother, Ivana, who passed away in July.

Letitia James, the attorney general of New York, filed a lawsuit against the Trump Organization on September 30 that also names Ivanka Trump as a defendant. The lawsuit accuses Ivanka Trump, her father, Donald Trump Sr., Eric Trump, and other company executives of engaging in a multi-year scheme to inflate the prices of numerous properties throughout their international real estate empire.
