A Brazilian model and owner of a nightclub was discovered dead with 11 stab wounds in what officials are calling a murder.

Thas Rocha Secundino, age 28, was discovered dead in her jeep in So Paulo, Brazil, on February 3. She was stabbed in the neck, abdomen, and back, according to the officials, but the murder weapon has not yet been located.

Ivalda Aleixo, a police spokeswoman, speculated that Secundino, who owned multiple nightclubs, was murdered “over issues involving alleged embezzlement” of her enterprises.

Authorities have already arrested two suspects in the suspected murder: the victim’s 45-year-old male driver, Leandro Aparecido Dos Santos, and Cintia Maria Feliciano Peixe, 31, one of the victim’s closest friends who worked in Secundino’s wine cellars.

“According to the victim’s boyfriend, Thas had gone to her friend’s house for an explanation, but she never returned,” Aleixo stated. They deny the crime, although there are significant indicators that they participated in the murder of the entrepreneur.bs.

In an effort to solve the crime, police have taken the victim’s vehicle and the phones of the suspects, which they want to study. Authorities are also scrutinizing surveillance footage captured in the area during Thas’s death.

To avoid impeding the ongoing homicide investigation, investigators withheld further information.

In addition to managing multiple businesses, Secundino was a prominent figure on Instagram, where she often uploaded bikini photos to her almost 50,000 followers. The entrepreneur stated in her farewell post uploaded two weeks ago, “The light that guides me is much stronger than the eyes that surround me.”
