Model Jess Davis has captured the horrifying moment she discovered what can happen in just three weeks to a car which is left lying in damp humid weather

An Australian model who had not driven her automobile in three weeks made a startling discovery when opening the door, with horrifying results.

When the upscale Audi sports car was finally opened, model Jess Davis, 32, was horrified to see a horrific mould infestation had taken over the interior.

Ms. Davis recorded herself approaching the car in Sydney as she shared the event with her followers in a video she posted to TikTok on Thursday.

“All right, I firmly believe that this has taken place…

She adds in the video, “I haven’t driven my car in three weeks, and today when we went to open it, look what we found.”

“What the ****!” I mean, I just can’t… I have a garden or a rainforest developing inside my car, and I have no idea what to do with this at the moment.

Together with her husband Tyson Hoffman, Ms. Davis is the co-founder and proprietor of the business known as “Mr. Potato.” She said that Tyson was the one who initially spotted the mould.

She told Daily Mail Australia, “He came upstairs and said, “Hey Babe, there’s something extremely bizarre going on inside of your car. Come look,”

I initially believed that an animal or a snake had gotten inside, but when I realized what had truly happened, I was even more surprised.

When we realized what had happened, Tyson put on a face mask and removed just enough mould for us to take a closer look.

Given that it was only her second TikTok and she only had 100 followers, Ms. Davis continued, “I genuinely can’t believe the amount of reach my TikTok got.”

According to her, she originally opened her TikTok account to discuss with Mr. Potato her entrepreneurial path and to offer general, uplifting advice.

However, she continued, “When the problem with my automobile came up, I thought it was too crazy not to share with the world.”

The recent record rainfall, excessive humidity, and floods, which she claimed she had never heard of before, had led her to discover from several TikTokers around the nation that mould outbreaks of this kind can be typical.

“The issue has to have been created by the humid weather and moisture trapped within,” she claimed.

One woman reportedly commented, “This happened to my car; I got back from vacation and discovered it like a way; it ended up being a write-off.”

The car has since been completely cleaned, according to Ms. Davis, but the scent is still present.

I think some potent mould killer is needed to complete the task, she continued.

Either that, or a replacement is obviously needed.

The website for Supercheap Auto issues a health advisory regarding mould.

It states that “mould growth in your vehicle is an indication of excess moisture build-up, most frequently caused by a leaking seal around a door or window.”

Mold is not only unpleasant to the smell and the eye, but it may also be quite deadly.

Mold spores can seriously impair breathing, especially in young children, the elderly, and those with asthma or other pre-existing diseases.

These patients may have nasal congestion, throat discomfort, coughing or wheezing, eye irritation, or, in rare instances, skin irritation as a result of mold exposure.
