A 14-year-old girl was discovered with self-inflicted knife wounds at the residence of Senator Ted Cruz.
Tuesday evening about 8 p.m., police were spotted outside Cruz’s River Oaks house in Houston, Texas, after the youngster was discovered with cuts to her arms.
According to ABC 13, a Senator’s spokesman stated that the event was a “family problem” and that Cruz’s girls were well.
This is a family affair, and happily their daughter is unharmed. There were no major injuries reported. ABC 13 was informed by a family acquaintance that the family wishes that the media respect their daughter’s privacy at this time.
The police stated that there was “no criminal conduct” and that it was not a case of domestic abuse.
The youngster was rushed to the hospital for treatment, but her injuries were not life-threatening.
Cruz has two daughters, Catherine, 11, and Caroline, 14, both of whom are named Caroline. It is unknown if Caroline was the wounded party.
KHOU-11 stated that the senator is presently in Washington, DC, and it is uncertain if he will return home following the event. The Cruz family has not made a formal announcement.

In January, his then-13-year-old daughter Caroline came out as bisexual and stated that she disagreed with many of her father’s political views.
The youngster stated that people are quick to criticize her based on her Republican father’s political views, despite the fact that she frequently disagrees with him.
She stated in a TikTok, “Many people make snap judgments about me based on him.” However, I disagree with the majority of his beliefs.
She also discussed the advantages and disadvantages of having a celebrity parent, criticizing their PR staff for shortening her blouse for the family Christmas card.
Caroline’s TikTok account @ caro iguess_, which has since been made private, began to garner new followers when her identity as the senator’s eldest daughter was revealed.
After a number of TikTokers inquired what it was like to be Cruz’s daughter, the adolescent created the video, which was re-posted on Twitter.

Caroline’s TikTok account became private after her video went viral, but not before social media users captured screenshots of her profile, in which she identified as bisexual and used the pronouns she/her.
Caroline responded to a query concerning her sexuality and if Cruz was aware of it by saying, “I haven’t told him yet, I’m kind of frightened to be honest, but I don’t believe he’d be upset about it.”
