One of the healthiest activities is preparing meals for loved ones. So that no one gets bored, it’s a good idea to offer dishes that feature everyone’s favourites with a twist. In this case, it was as simple as adding some extra ginger. If you’re looking for a hearty dish to warm you up on a spring evening when the weather is still a bit chilly, try this ginger chicken casserole.

Ginger chicken tips

You can butcher the chicken yourself if you’re handy with a knife, or you can buy chicken parts from the shop. Depending on how much of a kick you want, you may use either fresh or pickled ginger in this recipe. Browning the chicken first is a good idea, as it is with many other meats, before continuing to cook it. A more complex meal is the result of this method of showcasing and highlighting each ingredient’s unique flavour profile. You should really have some rice with this.

Try this ginger chicken casserole if you’re in the mood for something familiar with a little change in flavour. It is a sweet and tangy dinner feast.
