Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour

  • 1 cup breadcrumbs or panko crumbs

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 4 eggs

  • 400g button mushrooms (use more mushrooms if needed, the ingredients are enough)

  • sunflower oil for deep-frying

  • mayonnaise and whole mustard for the dipping sauce.

Method

  • Heat the oil in a frying pan (not too hot)
  • Whisk the eggs well in a bowl
  • Using a separate bowl, mix the flour, bread crumbs and salt together.
  • Place the mushrooms in the eggs mixture, make sure to cover completely. Coat the mushrooms well with the crumbs and flour mixture. dip in not too hot oil for a few minutes. Lightly fry in oil until golden brown.
  • Use a slotted spoon to remove from oil, drain on paper towel.
  • Serve while warm.
