Sizwe Mdlalose, Mampintsha’s friend and fellow artist, issued a warning to Mampintsha’s suspected side chicks and girlfriends when Babes Wodumo unlocked the Big Nuz member’s phone.
On Thursday, January 5, the Uphetheni Esandleni hitmaker said on TikTok that he is convinced the gqom queen would respond publicly to anything she discovers on her husband’s phone.
Mampintsha (actual name Mandla Maphumulo) died on 24 December 2022 after suffering a minor stroke and being hospitalised.
Babes Wodumo bemoaned not having his phone password during his burial on 30 December, and now that she has it, she is examining all of his communication applications.
She announced on his Facebook account on Tuesday that she now had access to the phone. A day later, she reportedly indicated on his WhatsApp stories that ladies were sending Mampintsha naked photos.
Her buddy Sizwe Mdlalose is confident that whatever she decides to do with the material she may have uncovered would not be good.
In the film, Sizwe cautions Mampintsha’s friends who may have acted as matchmakers between the deceased artist and other ladies. He also issued a warning to ladies who may have given nudes to the Ngeke singer, stating, “Babes Wodumo is going to deal with you thoroughly.”
“I’ve known Babes Wodumo for many years… please be on standby with water to put out this fire because it is as big as Big Nuz’s Umlilo… to quote the Bible ‘nothing under the sun stays hidden forever,’” he said.
In another video, he issued a warning to ladies who may have sent amorous messages to Mampintsha, as well as to musicians who had spread rumours about Babs Wodumo.
“There will be crying and gnashing of teeth… she [Babes] is still going to hate you if you gossiped about her. And she will hate you even more to prove that she was right about you all along,” Sizwe added.
