After being involved in a minor automobile accident, Ariana Zolciak-Biermann, the 20-year-old daughter of Kim Zolciak-Biermann, was detained for DUI.
In Forsyth County, Georgia, early on Saturday morning, Ariana, a social media influencer and reality star in her own right, was apprehended.
She is accused of misdemeanour DUI (driving while intoxicated), misdemeanour improper/erratic lane change, and misdemeanour underage alcohol possession/purchase.
She was later granted a bail and freed.
According to TMZ, Ariana was in the vehicle with her 20-year-old on-again boyfriend Hudson McLeroy when he was detained on alcohol-related charges at the same time.
In addition to being charged with providing or obtaining alcohol while underage and driving without a licence, McLeroy was also detained for DUI.
Ariana, however, may face more severe charges given that she was driving the vehicle when she was taken into custody.
“Ariana got engaged in a small collision.” According to her lawyer, the investigating officer started an inquiry for DUI as soon as the police got on the scene.
‘Despite Ariana’s repeated claims that the little collision had left her distraught and nervous, the officer mistakenly assumed she had consumed alcohol and was thus intoxicated.
It wasn’t like that. She categorically rejects these accusations and says she will fight them since she is not accountable for them.
Since the Bravo series’ debut in 2008, Ariana has been on The Real Housewives of Atlanta with her mother, Kim Zolciak-Biermann. At the time, she was just six years old.
She featured in eight seasons of her mother’s spinoff series Don’t Be Tardy after the programme.
Since she has become a social media influencer, Ariana spends her time marketing her family’s brand of personalised product boxes, which are filled with their favourite things.
The endeavour, known as The B Box, was started by her mother and her oldest sister Brielle.
The rest of the time, Ariana shares pictures of her social life on Instagram, where she publishes pictures of the food she eats, the cosmetics she wears, and writes about other excursions and travel.
