47-year-old woman discovered dead on Queensland roadside

In a suspected hit-and-run, a lady was discovered dead on the side of a road in rural Queensland.

The corpse of the 47-year-old man was discovered by the side of Four AK Road in Oakey, Toowoomba, about 8 a.m. on Saturday, according to police.The body of a 47-year-old woman was found on the side of Four AK Road (above) at Oakey in the Toowoomba region about 8am on Saturday in a suspected hit-and-run

According to preliminary information, she was hit by a car between midnight and 8 a.m., and authorities have formed a crime scene.

The forensic crash section and criminal investigation department of Queensland Police are investigating the woman’s death.
Anyone with information concerning her death or dashcam video from the area tonight should call police or Crime Stoppers.
