Queensland woman’s dead body washes up at the north end of Peregian Beach

Police reported that a woman’s body was discovered washed up on the north end of Peregian Beach, a popular beach on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast at around 1pm on Wednesday.

The woman has not been identified yet, and investigations are ongoing. However, the police believe that her death was not suspicious. Shane Urban, coordinator of the Sunshine Coast Surf Lifesaving Services, called the incident “tragic.”
