Tuesday, an NYPD official verified to DailyMail.com that the lady was identified as Juliana Malave of West 24th Street in Brooklyn.

Monday morning, at 7:00 a.m., police responded to a 911 call about a lady who was unconscious and unresponsive between Adams Street and York Street.

When emergency services came, Malave was discovered in the backseat of the parked car. She was declared deceased at the spot.

A 32-year-old male told police that he was in the vehicle with Malave, but that he left her and that when he returned, she was unconscious, according to a report.

The unidentified male was brought into police custody for additional questioning and was not immediately charged, according to authorities.

The municipal medical examiner’s office is conducting an autopsy to ascertain the manner and cause of death.

Yolanda Medina, the mother of Malave, created a GoFundMe page in her daughter’s memory.

Monday, Medina’s daughter died unexpectedly, although the circumstances surrounding her demise were not disclosed.

Those who knew my daughter Juliana are aware that she was a wonderful daughter, sister, and friend. She always put people before herself and displayed her emotions on her sleeve,’ Medina wrote.

Due to my financial situation, I could only afford a journey to New York to say goodbye to my daughter.

“My family and I would really appreciate any assistance we may get.” I just want a one-day viewing for my daughter so that I may bring her back to Florida with me.

She said, “And thank you in advance for your sympathies; they are very welcomed at this time.”
