While a pervert rubs himself on the stairs of a Manhattan subway station, women start shooting up in Union Square.

With drug addicts shooting up in broad public and homeless perverts harassing subway travelers, New York City’s widespread crime and drug usage have continued to escalate, horrifying locals and visitors alike.

Two ladies were seen doing drugs in crowded Union Square in Manhattan, and around 10 a.m., a homeless guy was seen touching himself while resting on the steps of the Prince St. subway station in fashionable Soho.

Images and videos taken in Union Square show the scantily dressed couple, one of whom had electric blue hair, nonchalantly injecting themselves with an unidentified drug next to a Citi bike.

Despite hiding behind a building, the homeless couple was visible to startled visitors and bystanders as they injected narcotics in plain daylight.

The rambling guy, who was wearing a dark jacket, was caught in the act as he stroked himself inappropriately and cast ominous glances towards others ascending the train stairs. Despite unaware innocent onlookers recognizing what he was doing, he continued to remain where he was.

According to witnesses, they were using the syringe to inject themselves for close to 30 minutes without anybody asking them a question or trying to alert the authorities.

The appalling situations occur despite NYC Mayor Eric Adam’s promise to combat homelessness and crime, which are up almost 40% from the previous year.

The recent increase in crime and violence on the city’s streets and subways, as well as the rampant looting and physical altercations in numerous areas, has left New Yorkers becoming tired.

Adams has been directing police to remove homeless encampments all around the city since March as vagrancy has increased in the city.

As delinquents go to the streets to trade and use drugs, certain areas of the city are alleged to have turned into “24-hour drug and sex dens.”

Children have reportedly been exposed to drug usage, sex acts, and nudity in Manhattan’s upscale Chelsea district, where shop owners cope with frequent break-ins.

Some said they are pleading with the police and the local government for action.

Photographs and video taken in May of the individuals laying on Park Avenue between 115th and 116th E Streets in front of a well-known market in East Harlem showed males nonchalantly injecting narcotics into their arms.

The next day, pictures of the block showed more males drug-snorting at the location. The men were seen sitting under the train surrounded by bags of their things and an upside-down Citi bike.

This comes just one day after a thug slashed a stranger in the stomach in an unprovoked attack in Midtown Manhattan.

The assailant, who has not been identified, was walking on 135 West 36 St in New York when he attacked the 34-year-old victim from behind – leaving them with a deep abdominal wound.

Just weeks ago, a woman leaving her job at IHOP in the city’s Gramercy area was murdered in an execution-style killing by the father of one of her children.

Imani Armstrong was shot in the heat on a street corner near Union Square.

Clarkson Wilson, 44, was arrested for the heinous crime. He faces murder charges as well as two counts of criminal possession of a weapon.

In August, New York City’s most prolific criminal, with 167 arrests on his record, appeared in court after being caught stealing 48 items worth $450 from an Upper East Side Rite Aid.

DailyMail.com cameras were at Manhattan Supreme Court as Jamel Pringle, 39, was notably denied bail for the first time despite New York’s woke bail reform laws.

Police had previously joked that, due to the controversial laws that only offered bail for serious offenses, Pringle had amassed ‘frequent flier miles.’

Pringle has one felony conviction, 88 misdemeanors and another 39 citations for failing to appear in court. The next closest offender in New York City has just 101 arrests.

In February, Pringle was arrested on an early Monday morning for taking 48 items worth over $430 from a Rite Aid on Second Avenue near East 96th Street on New York City’s Upper East Side.

A string of West Village and SoHo clothing robberies were coordinated by one suspect, the NYPD reports. All of the break ins took place from July 3 until July 23, often between closing times. These stores are: Loro Piana, Christian Louboutin, A.P.C., Scotch  Soda, Rag & Bone, Meermin Shoes and Bonobos

And posh stores in the city’s West Village and SoHo have also become rampant with thieves in recent months – including when a gang of seven were recorded calmly walking out of Lululemon with $30,000 worth of gear.

They entered the store on 14th Street and 9th Avenue with empty carts and laundry bags while the guard casually glanced over as they grabbed piles of clothing on August 16.

The brazen robbers, targeting the posh West Village neighborhood, rushed out of the store with their finds – without being apprehended by the security guard.

Store surveillance footage showed the thieves walk in and out the store around noon – looting thousands of dollars worth of merchandise as the seemingly unbothered guard, dressed in a white shirt and black tie, stood by.

But violence is also on the up in NYC.

A warped ‘knockout’ game which sees violent criminals punch strangers for fun is feared to have made a comeback in the crime-ridden city.

Almost 20 of the violent and apparently motive-less knockout game incidents have been reported to the NYPD so far this year, including a Bronx man who almost died after being punched to the ground outside a restaurant.

Other knockout game victims include a 74-year-old lady who was slapped to the pavement in Midtown Manhattan earlier this month and a 36-year-old guy who was seen on camera being knocked out cold after receiving a headbutt at a Brooklyn mall.

The most notable incident included convicted sex offender and alleged “Born To Kill” gang member Bui Van Phu, who was shown on camera throwing a blind roundhouse punch in front of a Bronx eatery.

Just before 11 p.m. on August 12, 2022. Jesus Cortes, 52, is shown on security video gathering with relatives outside the Fuego Tipico restaurant on East 188 Street in black and white.

On the footage, Phu—who was convicted of raping a 17-year-old girl at gunpoint in 1994—is suddenly seen coming up behind Cortes and striking him on the side of the head.

Cortes, who didn’t anticipate the blow, collapses to the ground with a fractured skull. To deal with the swelling, doctors put him into a coma, and after a few tense weeks, he was eventually taken off a respirator.

On August 20, a 36-year-old guy shopping in the Kings Plaza Mall was struck once in the head by a seemingly random person across town in South Brooklyn.

A guy may be seen on video waiting in line at the ATM about 6 o’clock. When an assailant comes from behind, the astounded victim gets struck directly on the right face by the assailant’s front foot.
