Pervert gropes 15-year-old girl on Manhattan train, say cops

According to authorities, a pervert groped a 15-year-old girl on a Manhattan train over the weekend. The incident occurred on a southbound No. 7 train, as it approached the Grand Central-42 Street station in Times Square, around 8:40 p.m. on Sunday.

The perpetrator, who appeared to be in his 40s, approached the young victim and attempted to start up a conversation with her. However, he then proceeded to touch the inside of her upper thigh.

According to authorities, the girl got up and moved to another seat in the train car in an attempt to distance herself from the stranger.

As the train pulled into the station, the perpetrator fled, while the victim remained on board. Despite the perpetrator’s escape, the NYPD has released photos of the suspect in the hope of identifying him. It remains unclear who took or provided the photos to the police.

The man, who is still at large, is described as being about 5-foot-8 and 170 pounds. He has a medium complexion, a thin build, black hair, facial hair, and brown eyes. The perpetrator was last seen wearing a neon orange and yellow jacket, a black and white baseball hat, tan pants, and tan boots.

This incident is a stark reminder of the importance of remaining alert and aware of one’s surroundings while in public. The authorities are urging anyone with information about the suspect to come forward and help in the ongoing investigation.
