On Wednesday afternoon, the accident reportedly occurred on the N3 in Pietermaritzburg, according to accounts on social media.
The truck can be seen speeding down Townhill in the first video with its brake lights on and wheels bulging with smoke. Before colliding with another car, the truck is seen veering to the left and the right. The truck’s tanker was launched many meters away from the vehicle.

According to reports, the N3 was blocked for many hours. If anyone had been hurt in the serious collision, it was not yet known.

The two males can be seen exiting their white car in the footage. In the distance, another car can be seen making a leisurely pass before halting. Then, three armed guys can be seen stepping out of the car.
They approach the two guys, split them apart, and attempt to seize one of the males. It appears that they are attempting to steer him toward their car. But in an unexpected change of events, the man runs after it and has time to get his gun out. One of the armed men shoots at him just in time. He fires back at the armed soldiers in a flash.
