The University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) is currently offering admission forms for its postgraduate programs for the 2021/2022 academic year. Below are the courses, requirements, and information on how to obtain a UNIABUJA postgraduate form.

The University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) invites applications from adequately qualified applicants for admission to its postgraduate programs for the 2021/22 academic year.

Postgraduate programs at UNIABUJA leading to the award of:

Postgraduate Diploma Certificate in Education (PGDE), Business Administration (PGDBA), Public Administration (PGDPA), Political Science, Banking and Finance (PGDBF), Diplomatic Studies, Statistics, Engineering, Food Hygiene Veterinary, Epidemiology, Crop Protection, Agronomy, Agro-Forestry, Agricultural Economics and Farm Management, Agric. Business Management, Soil science, Animal Science, Environmental Planning and Protection (PGDEPP), and Postgraduate Diploma in Gender Structural Analysis (

General Requirements for UNIABUJA Postgraduate Admission
A candidate for postgraduate study at the University of Abuja must have earned a minimum of five credits, including English and Mathematics, in no more than two sittings on the WASC NECO GCE (Ordinary Level) or its equivalent.
M.A., M.Ed., M. Eng., MVPH, MVPM, and M.Sc. applicants in any area must hold a Bachelor’s degree with at least a second-class lower division in the appropriate field.

A PhD candidate in any program at the University of Abuja must have earned a minimum weighted average score of 60% (4 points) letter grade “B” in the Master’s Degree.

A candidate for the PhD with a Master’s degree from another university who did not take the compulsory courses or their equivalents equal to the courses offered at the University of Abuja shall, upon admission, be required to offer and pass such courses with a minimum grade of B or 60% (4 points).

Applicants to any of the postgraduate Diploma Programmes must hold a bachelor’s degree with a minimum grade of third class or an HND with a minimum grade of Lower Credit.

MPH Community Medicine requires MBBS, BDS, whereas MPH Sexual and Reproductive Health requires a health-related degree.

NOTE: Ph.D. candidates are required to submit a maximum 500-word research proposal.
How to Apply for Postgraduate Admission Form at UNIABUJA

Application Fee: A non-refundable Application fee of N20,500.00 must be submitted to the University of Abuja Account via the University of Abuja Portal and REMITA. NOTE: For record-keeping considerations, applicants are urged to access REMITA through the University of Abuja Portal listed below.

How to:

Visit https://portal.uniabuja.edu.ng
Click the “Apply Here” link.
On the left-hand side, click Postgraduate.
Enter the required information (last name, first name, additional names, email address, and phone number) and then click Next.
On the screen displaying a payment preview, click Generate RRR.
When you click make payment, you will be transported to the remita platform where you may enter your card information (Master Card or Visa Card)
After a successful payment, you will be transferred to the portal, given a new application number, and logged out.
To continue the application procedure, click “Main Login” and enter the created application number and surname as the password.

Please take note of the following: Applicants who submit an incorrect application will incur additional fees. Multiple applications require separate payment and form completion. Errors in the completion and submission of forms throughout the application procedure would result in the cancellation of the academic session’s application processing (e.g. selecting M.Phil. instead of M.Sc. or PhD), A applicant who is not accepted into the programme for which they applied cannot transfer their application to another programme. Four-year and older Statements of Results will not be accepted for admission (applicants should therefore obtain certificates from the relevant examination bodies).
