On Saturday, a tragic accident in Arizona resulted in the deaths of two cyclists and injuries to 11 others. According to reports, a pickup truck struck several cyclists on Cotton Lane Bridge at around 8am.
The Good Year Police Department responded to the scene and found multiple injured cyclists.
The driver of the pickup truck remained at the scene and was cooperating with the police, although it is unclear whether the driver was arrested.
Emergency services declared a female cyclist dead at the scene, and a male cyclist was pronounced dead at a local hospital. The other cyclists were transported to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.
