A car and a bakkie collided head-on on the N11 outside Ladysmith leaves 3 dead and 1 critically injured

A car and a bakkie collided head-on last night on the N11 outside of Ladysmith, leaving two adults, two children, and another man critically injured.

The Provincial EMS was already on the scene when ER24 arrived at 21:14.

The light motor vehicle was smashed into the roadside barrier, which was discovered upon closer inspection by the medics. Three further people were lying next to the automobile, while one was locked inside. The

The four patients had previously been listed as injured by provincial EMS.

A male, possibly in his 30s, was spotted sitting inside the bakkie. The individual was examined by medical personnel, who discovered that he had suffered numerous injuries and was in critical condition.

Following treatment, the man was sent right away to Ladysmith Provincial Hospital for emergency care.

Although the full circumstances of this tragedy remain unknown, local authorities were on the scene to conduct additional investigations.
