Three toddlers were discovered unconscious on a Coney Island beach; their mother was later taken into custody.
At 3.15 am, police were contacted in response to complaints of a 30-year-old lady wandering about barefoot on Brighton Beach’s promenade.
Before her three children were discovered unconscious on a beach three miles away, she allegedly claimed that they were gone.
The three kids—a four-year-old girl, a seven-year-old boy, and a newborn brother—were hurried to the hospital but were found to be dead when they got there.
The lady, who was first transported to the hospital for assessment, has been detained, according to the police.
She is still being questioned by authorities in relation to the alleged drownings.
