It's alleged that Bannon walked away with $1 million thanks to his role in the 'We Build the Wall' project

The 68-year-old Bannon was found guilty of contempt of Congress in regard to the January 6 Capitol incident in July.

Tuesday, Bannon contacted DailyMail.com to label the indictment as “bogus charges” and the prosecutors as “psychotic thugs.”

He said, “They are coming after everyone, not just President Trump and me.” I will never give up the struggle.

Bannon is accused of scamming ‘We Build the Wall’ project contributors.

Trump granted Bannon a federal pardon on conspiracy to engage wire fraud and conspiracy to commit money laundering charges prior to leaving office in January 2021, after losing the presidential election to Joe Biden.

The latest indictment filed by the District Attorney’s office for the Southern District of New York is similar to those charges, according to The Washington Post.

Bannon and others were accused of scamming contributors to the ‘We Build the Wall’ initiative, which led to his pardon.

The project aimed to crowdfund a border wall along the southern border of the United States. The Post reported in February 2021 that the New York office was still assessing whether or not to seek charges against Bannon following his federal pardon.

It is believed that Bannon received $1 million for his participation in the ‘We Build the Wall’ project.

Bannon was accused of stealing $1 million in contributions. He entered a not-guilty plea to the allegations.

In reaction to the allegations, Bannon stated through a spokeswoman to DailyMail.com:

“Just days after being swatted three times by deranged thugs from New York City inspired by the Biden Administration to assassinate me by police, the Soros-backed DA has now decided to pursue phony charges against me 60 days before the midterm election because WarRoom is the primary source of the MAGA grassroots movement,” said the target of the charges.

The statement continued, “Just days after being swatted three times by deranged thugs from New York City inspired by the Biden Administration to assassinate me by police, the Soros-backed DA has decided to pursue phony charges against me 60 days before the midterm election because WarRoom is the primary source of the MAGA grassroots movement.”

It continued, ‘I am happy to be a major advocate for securing our borders and constructing a wall to keep our nation safe from narcotics and vicious criminals.’

Bannon said, ‘This time, the WarRoom concert will be more dynamic, passionate, urgent, and expansive. They are coming for us all, not just President Trump and I. I will never give up battling. In reality, I have yet to begin fighting. They will first have to kill me.

The statement made reference to the fact that Bannon’s home in Washington, D.C. was the target of swatting, the practice of making a fake 911 call in an attempt to elicit a big police reaction to the victim’s home.

Following this episode, Bannon stated to DailyMail.com, ‘I will never quit, so they will have to kill me first.’

And if they intend to kill me,’

He stated, “This is a direct result of the White House: the White House spokeswoman earlier that day and Biden’s statements over the past few days.”

The White House is attempting to employ such violence. They’re stirring up the unstable people on the far left to do this.’

This is the second time that his residence has been swat.

In July, a caller allegedly told police that a shooting had occurred at the address before threatening to kill himself if officers attended the residence.

As soon as police arrived, they established that the call was a hoax.

Bannon has also been in the news recently due to his multiple comments in Jared Kushner’s memoir Breaking History, who is the son-in-law of President Trump.

The president’s son-in-law was threatened by Bannon to be “broken in half” if he went against him, as detailed in Kushner’s book.

However, it concludes with Kushner informing the president that he does not oppose a presidential pardon for Bannon, who was charged with a fraud scheme tied to an effort to gather private cash for a border wall.

Kushner said that he told the president, “Steve was tremendously detrimental to your first year in office, but he supported you during your first campaign when few others did.”

In his book, Kushner describes Bannon as a “toxic” White House presence.

During an interview to promote his book, Kushner stated, “If you look at Steve… Steve actually joined us quite early. He excelled during the campaign. When it got to the White House, he was an excellent collaborator. I believe the power may have gotten to his head a little bit, or he was just being more of who he was.’

The husband of Ivanka Trump claimed that Bannon was “undermining us, battling with colleagues, and it wasn’t helping us implement the plan.”

He acknowledges that Bannon is “probably right on a number of topics” and has become an ardent defender of the ex-president.
