Stage 4 load shedding will continue

Monday’s implementation of stage four loadshedding will continue until further notice, Eskom announced on Sunday.

Since Saturday, one unit at each of the Camden, Grootvlei, Lethabo, and Majuba power plants has broken down and is undergoing repairs, while one unit at each of the Kriel and Lethabo power stations has been reinstated to service.

The return to service of one unit at each of the Duvha, Matla, and Tutuka power stations has been delayed.

Additionally, large portions of Johannesburg are experiencing water shortages.
