Sir Dave Ramsden has been reappointed as Deputy Governor for Markets and Banking

Her Majesty the Queen has reappointed a deputy governor of the Bank of England.

Sir Dave Ramsden has been reappointed as the deputy governor for markets and banking, where he is in charge of managing the directorates for payments, markets, banking, and resolution.

He will serve another five-year term beginning on September 4, 2022, and ending on September 3, 2027.

He serves in this capacity on the Financial Policy Committee, the Prudential Regulation Committee, and the Monetary Policy Committee.

The RTGS/CHAPS Board is presided over by Sir Dave Ramsden as well.

Nadhim Zahawi, the Chancellor of the Exchequer, expressed his pleasure at Sir Dave Ramsden’s reappointment to the position.
