Savannah Guthrie receives her first important tattoo at age 51 with Drew Barrymore

Savannah Guthrie is following in the footsteps of her BFF Drew Barrymore.

The “Today” host revealed on Tuesday that the actress inspired her first tattoo.

Guthrie, 51, had “all my love” tattooed on the inside of her right forearm to commemorate her father, who died of a sudden heart attack when she was 16 years old.

She stated on the NBC program, “This is a carbon copy of my father’s handwriting.”

“‘All my love.’ This is his letter to my mother, which he wrote to her. And that marks the first time in my life, at the age of 51, that I have gotten a tattoo or desired one. And it’s not just his work, so he’s with me, but I’m attempting to make it my life motto.”

The talk show presenter has contemplated getting a tattoo in the past, telling Barrymore a year ago that the “Charlie’s Angels” star’s own markings inspired her.

Drew was not only present for emotional support, but she also added to her own collection of tattoos, which includes the names of her children Olive and Frankie on her wrist and the word “breathe” in block letters on her opposite arm.

She added three basic oblong fish to the lower portion of her forearm, but the actress did not explain the significance of her most recent tattoo.

After providing emotional support to Guthrie, Barrymore added a twelfth design to her tattoo collection.

Friends and creators of the upcoming Netflix animated series “Princess Power,” which is based on Guthrie’s book “Princesses Wear Pants.”
