Embarrassing video of a white lady insulting an Asian guy during his shift at a café has surfaced.
During his shift at The Coffee Club in Sydney’s northwest’s Top Ryde Shopping Center on Sunday morning, the lady was seen on video cursing at the waiter.
She said, “This is my country, so f**k off Asian.”
Get out of here, you f***ing Asian, get out of here.
The guy was seen attempting to clear a table as the lady hurled the obscene obscenities at him in the video, which was captured by a horrified bystander and posted on Reddit.
The description for the video said, “[The] worker tried to remove a table and was hit with a volley of discriminatory slurs against his Asian origin (China, virus-spreading, etc.).
Very depressing to see, particularly in Sydney, Australia.
The lady went away from the waiter while wheeling her baggage off the table and donning a beige headscarf.
The lady was advised to “cool down” by another guy who was off camera, but he was also ordered to “f**k off.”
More than 200 comments have been left on the video, many of which criticize the lady for her “nasty” and “vile” behavior.
One commenter commented, “As a white Aussie guy, I feel genuinely horrified and humiliated for her behavior.”
A violation of the 1975 Racial Discrimination Act occurs when someone makes insulting remarks in a public setting with the intent to offend, humiliate, or threaten another person because of their race.
