According to FBI investigators, “hundreds” of women have been allegedly exploited by a New York woman over the course of the previous ten years, leading to her arrest and sex trafficking charges.

On August 12, Ysenni Gomez, 39, was taken into detention and accused of trafficking women in the Bronx and the close-by Westchester County.

According to the FBI, Gomez would advertise online on sites like Facebook, Bedpage.com, and MegaPersonals.com in an effort to get women to work as “waitresses” at a Manhattan restaurant.

Gomez would use the s to deliberately target immigrants who speak Spanish.

The victim who assisted in bringing Gomez in, an illegal Venezuelan immigrant, said she was pushed into having sex with males after being informed there was no employment and threatened with calling the authorities to have her deported.

According to the FBI, Gomez tried to recruit women for “waitressing” positions at a restaurant in Manhattan by placing online advertising on sites including Facebook, Bedpage.com, and MegaPersonals.com.

According to reports, Gomez would urge the victims, like this Venezuelan lady, to get in a vehicle after cornering them.

The girl said she was pushed into performing sex services for three males a night for the following weeks.

Over 1,600 s linked to Gomez were found to have been advertising prostitution for over ten years, according to federal prosecutors.

She would use aliases like “Ysenni Peguero,” “Carolina,” and the fictitious company name “Chicas Express” to hide her identity.

Anyone with information or who may have been a victim is urged to contact the FBI.

According to FBI Supervisory Special Agent Brendan Kenny, “There are probably many more victims,” he told the New York Post. Up to ten years might have passed while this surgery was underway.

An undercover cop responding to one of the s helped authorities locate Gomez earlier in August, and a meeting was arranged at a hotel in Tarrytown.

According to Kenney, the FBI is looking into whether or not additional traffickers are connected to Gomez’s business.
