Prince Andrew is “watching” Harry and Meghan in America

While he explores his future job, Prince Andrew has reportedly been “keeping an eye” on Harry and Meghan’s life in the States.

The Duke of York, 62, lost his royal titles and responsibilities last year, but according to sources, he is ‘less upset’ than people think.

According to a source close to Andrew, he has been following the Sussexes’ path “very, very carefully” as he thinks about how to “create a new profession,” according to The Sun.

It’s believed that the disgraced Duke is preparing a return that would repair his damaged image. Also, he reportedly has Virginia Giuffre on the receiving end of legal proceedings for sex abuse.

The ability of Harry and Meghan to “build up a new professional life separate from the Royal Family” in California has apparently pleased Andrew.

According to the source, he is “extremely interested” in “business and charity,” but unlike his nephew, he would avoid initiatives similar to those on Netflix.

Also, the king is apparently building his own staff. It is believed that he just fired his two-year communications officer.

MailOnline sent an email seeking comment to Andrew’s agents.

While Andrew has always vehemently rejected the allegations, which were filed in a US civil court lawsuit, he was compelled to stand down from his role as a member of the royal family in November 2019.

He is now thinking of seeking to reverse a multi-million pound settlement he signed with Ms Giuffre, The Mail on Sunday claimed last month.

He lost his honorary military titles as a result of the controversy surrounding the case, and it seems hard for him to return to public life.

There are discussions going on behind the scenes regarding what function, if any, Andrew would have at the coronation of the monarch.

According to rumors, King Charles believes it would not be suitable to involve him in a position of authority.

From its founding in 1348, the Knights of the Garter have played important roles throughout coronation celebrations. Andrew is still a member of this chivalric order.

Andrew was barred from the annual public parade last year while continuing to be a Garter Knight.

Instead, he spent the day’s private time with other Garter Knights.

Andrew’s claimed attempt to establish a life in America comes as sources claim that his attorneys are attempting to make Ms. Giuffre’s legal records public in an effort to “demolish” her allegation and clear his name.

The Duke of York settled with Ms. Giuffre for an estimated £12 million after she claimed he had sex with her when she was 17; he has denied this.

The Sunday Times said that his legal team has requested access to documents from a litigation involving Ms. Giuffre, 39, and US attorney Alan Dershowitz, whom she first accused of abuse but subsequently confessed she had erred.

In the wake of his 2019 BBC Newsnight interview, in which he remained unrepentant about his contacts with Ghislaine Maxwell and convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein, the prince was deprived of his royal responsibilities and his military titles.

He has disputed the veracity of a picture of them both taken at Maxwell’s Mews mansion and argued that Ms. Giuffre’s allegation of a sexual encounter in 2001 “didn’t happen.”

According to royal observers, the Queen left him a sizeable fortune, which has given him the security — should he choose — to take Ms Giuffre to court.

Some believe Andrew, who was recently named one of the least popular royals, may write a biography to attempt to clear his image after vehemently disputing Ms. Giuffre’s accusations.

The Duke recently told pals that a “secret development” would help him regain his damaged reputation in the near future.
