Yesterday in North Carolina, three individuals were detained and charged with kidnapping and torturing an unnamed victim.
The victim apparently managed to escape after being tied to a chair with barbed wire, kicked, punched, and hacked with a knife. The victim then went to a neighbor’s house and said they had been kidnapped; they were then transported to the hospital for treatment.
The victim had been forcibly trapped in the basement as stated by Patrick Banks, James Angel, and Nicole Sawyer, according to Madison County police who had followed the trail back to a nearby house.
Sheriff Buddy Harwood stated the victim was found with several cuts on their face, body, and arms from being slashed and battered with guns, as well as having crosses etched into their face and body.
The three suspects were apprehended and accused.
All three were accused of first-degree kidnapping, assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious bodily damage with the intent to murder, and having a weapon of mass destruction.
Banks was also accused of having a gun in his possession while a felon.
According to the sheriff’s office, the victim had been hit in the head with a crowbar and a revolver.
Pictures provided by the office included a knife, a shotgun, a handgun, ammunition, two different pistol magazines, and the weapons themselves.
A North Carolina guy was only recently detained after reportedly kidnapped and trying to kill a lady he met at a gas station “just for the excitement.”
After the woman said she was attacked and imprisoned at Hunter Chase Nance’s home, the 24-year-old was detained last Wednesday on accusations of false imprisonment and kidnapping.
The victim proceeded to Nance’s China Grove residence where she was detained at knifepoint and trapped inside before grabbing the blade and running away.
According to reports, he claimed to have told police that they had “spoiled” his plans to mutilate, consume, and dump her remains in the road for all to see.
