Police arrest five suspects and recover 40 grams of crack cocaine Downtown

On Friday afternoon, officers detained five people and recovered about 40 grams of crack cocaine during a narcotics operation in Downtown.

Throughout the afternoon, police saw many individuals selling crack cocaine and fentanyl on Blanchard Street and Bell Street between 1st and 3rd Avenue, as well as on Pike Street between 2nd and 4th Avenue. Officers arrested each defendant for possession of drugs with intent to distribute after seeing the transactions.

Four males, ages 19, 21, 26, and 35, and a woman, age 20, were arrested and taken to the King County Jail with roughly 40 grams of crack cocaine.

Officers conducting the narcotics operation also saw a man being hit in the head with a hammer; they swiftly took the suspect into custody.
