According to police sources, both the murder victim and the perpetrator of the Poland Street slaying were employed at the Arirang Korean eatery.

When a lady arrived to the Korean eatery, which debuted in 1975 and claims to be the first in the UK, she was observed sobbing and knelt on the ground.

Workers on Poland Street, the location of the assault, said they think two cooks got into a fight.

When asked whether the victim and his assailant were coworkers, the police said that they were unable to corroborate this.

Before the shooting, a neighbour by the first name of Terry noticed a fight breaking out on the street.

I feel nervous when individuals do that, racing up past the window of my apartment, the man added. “I was in my flat and I saw someone with a hoodie go through the gate outside between the tree and the fence,” he said.

Anyway, the next thing I hear is crack crack crack, and I immediately assumed that someone was playing a joke by setting off firecrackers. The 20 minutes before, there had been an altercation on the street.

I overheard yelling and foul language, but I’m not sure what was said. All hell broke loose when I heard gunfire sounds that didn’t sound like gunshots at first.
