‘Dame Olivia Newton-John (73) died quietly this morning at her Ranch in Southern California, surrounded by her loved ones.

Instead of sending flowers, the family requested that contributions be directed to the Olivia Newton-John Foundation Fund, which supports cancer research.

Chloe Lattanzi, her 36-year-old daughter, and her brothers are left behind.

The reason for her death was not made clear by him.

Three days ago, Chloe sent a heartfelt homage to her mother on Instagram. I revere this lady. the mother. My closest buddy,” she said.

The actress notably overcame breast cancer twice, but in 2017 she was given another diagnosis.

She described the illness in a terrifying interview with The Guardian in 2020, saying, “It’s been a part of my life for so long.” I sensed there was a problem.

When it returns, it’s unsettling, but I told myself, “I’ll get through it again.”

Newton-John, whose father was an MI5 agent, was born in England and relocated with her family to Melbourne, Australia, when she was six years old.

In order to further her singing career, she moved back to the UK when she was a teenager. In 1974, she participated in the Eurovision Song Contest.

Four years later, she had her big break with Grease. She famously refused to take the job, first rejecting producer Alan Carr because she believed she was too old for the character.

The movie became a huge smash all around the world as soon as it was released.

For many years to come, Newton-John defended her sweet-to-sexy transformation despite a barrage of criticism during the #MeToo movement.

“It’s a film.” It’s a tale from a time when things were different, the 1950s. Everyone overlooks the fact that he also transforms for her in the end.

The #MeToo movement isn’t covered in any depth there. It’s simply a female who loves a man and believes that if she acts in a certain way, he would like her.

He also believes that if he does that, she would like him. That seems rather genuine to me.

People help one another out like that. It was a wonderful love tale.

In 2008, Newton-John and Easterling were hitched. From 1984 until 1995, she was wed to Michael Lattanzi, her first husband.
