Daughter Chloe Lattanza divulges Olivia Newton-final John’s remarks

Chloe Lattanzi, daughter of the late Olivia Newton-John, witnessed her mother’s final moments for the first time.

Friday on the “Today” show, Lattanzi, 37, stated that the “Grease” star’s parting words to her were “My sunshine.”

“She was making jokes right before she lost her ability to speak,” she recounted.

When Newton-John lost her battle with breast cancer in August 2022 at the age of 73, her fans have provided her surviving daughter with a “life raft” of support.

Lattanzi remarked, “It has felt like a big hug from the universe.” “I am extremely grateful to everyone who reached out to us with their heart and their connection.

“I adore my mother above all else,” she concluded. “She is my mother, do you know? She is not Olivia Newton-John to me, but I am ecstatic that she was Olivia Newton-John to so many people.

Lattanzi told her followers in November 2022 that she felt “guided” by her deceased parent.

“You will now walk with me. Every step I take. She captioned a flashback video of the Grammy winner performing, “Every move I make.” “I love you soulmate.”

1986 saw the birth of Lattanzi, Newton-first John’s and only child with her then-husband Matt Lattanzi. In 2008, she married John Easterling.

The 70-year-old billionaire joined his stepdaughter in an interview on Friday, stating that he “terribly” misses his “extraordinary” wife.

Easterling continued by sharing “encouraging” advice he had just received regarding his “obligation to live life” for them both in the wake of her passing.

He explains, “I’ll be walking around the house or throwing the ball for the dogs and just speak to her.”

As for Newton-ex-husband, John’s Matt stated through Facebook that he felt “overwhelmed” after her passing.

“Nothing will replace the icon we lost, but her legacy lives on in our hearts and memories,” the actor, 64, and his current wife, Michelle Lattanzi, wrote in a joint statement.

Please acknowledge your sorrow, and then rejoice in the joy that Olivia’s heart and life’s work have brought to the world.
