Muggers attack and kill a British tourist

Muggers attacked and killed a British tourist while hiking to the Hill of Three Crosses in Colombia.

The 34-year-old victim, a Swedish-born man with a British passport, was found two days after his disappearance with head wounds and other injuries.

He was rushed to a nearby health center and later transferred to Medellin’s General Hospital where he died during surgery.

The victim had been on an extended holiday when he was mugged and had all his belongings stolen.

The Hill of Three Crosses is a popular hike that offers breathtaking views of Medellin, but caution is advised when hiking late in the day as there have been reports of robberies at night.

Police have not yet made any arrests, but detectives have some information that could lead to the capture of the criminals believed to be responsible.

Last year, there were ten murders of foreigners in Medellin, making the victim the first foreign person to be murdered in the city this year.

The victim’s body is at Medellin’s Forensic Medicine Institute, and he is described as having lived and worked in Ashford, Kent.
