On Tuesday, January 31st, emergency personnel were dispatched to Wemmeeshoek Road in Oakdene, where a man in his twenties was fatally shot during an armed robbery.
At 14:01, when ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene, local officials are already present.
The medical personnel noticed a man laying on the pavement upon closer inspection.
The individual was found to be suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the head and chest and was not breathing.
Unfortunately, there was nothing that could be done to save his life, and he was pronounced dead at the site.
Unknown are the circumstances of this incident, however local authorities were present to conduct more inquiries.
